Commercial Development Motorcycle Showroom

Project Description

Its great to see one of our clients projects in use and thriving!

Hirst Architects was appointed by the client of this project through multiple stages of the RIBA Plan of Work to assist them with the Concept Design, Planning, Technical Approvals and Construction of this project.

Gaining Planning Permission for a Motorcyle Showroom and Workshop within a heavily populated residential local area comes with its own unique risks and challenges.

The client and Hirst Architects worked very closely with with the Local Authority Planning Departments officers, Environmental Control and Highways officers with significant consultations, design representations, site meetings and policy based discussions to achieve a positive outcome and the Granting of Approved Planning Permission.

This kind of development also has unique technical and practical challenges that come with having live fuel within the building that must be addressed through good design and construction.

The client of this self build project worked hand in hand with Hirst Architects, the Building Control Officers and Fire Safety Officers to ensure that the construction met a high level of quality and safety both on a large scale and at a detailed level.

This self build client had a respect for doing things the right way, the ambition that only the best would be good enough and the drive to push on and build this project despite any challenges that arose, we love working with enthusiastic clients like this!
